The first ever 2009 Gradephy Award for Literary Achievement goes to... you guessed it, Susan Wingate for "Bobby's Diner."
Because Ms. Wingate is the first to ever dream of the Gradephy Award for Literary Achievement she has gotten the great honor of receiving it.
This year's award was given to a writer who:
1. Dreamed (while sleeping) of receiving this award,
2. Wrote a novel about a diner in a small Arizona town who's owner has died and bequeathed said diner to his widow and also his ex-wife, and
3. Awoke to tell her husband, Bob, of receiving the award in her dream.
In her dream, she said, her assistant (who has yet to be hired) will be fired for taking down erroneous information and then giving it to Ms. Wingate two months late. The note included the award's phone number which turned out to be a Honda dealership.
To apply for this award please do so through a posting. Remember, the criteria are as follows:
1. You must dream (while sleeping) of winning this amazing literary award,
2. You must have written a novel,
3. You must tell us about your novel!
Two out of the above three criteria will place you high on the list of winning this award. However, if you can obtain all three criteria, well, you're a shoe-in!
Good luck and check back often for status updates...
